The Year of the Fire Horse
February 17th 2026 will see the year of the fire horse in Chinese astrology.
2025 was the year of the wood Snake.
It was a 9 year astrology wise, meaning endings, destruction, completion.
On a global scale we saw political allies falling apart. Akin to a snake shedding its skin we saw the true nature beneath the smiling facade.
Truth bombs were dropped and agendas were revealed.
Most people felt they were in the trenches emotionally, mentally & financially.
The year of the snake forced us to shed our collective skins. What wasn’t working for you? Who had too much access to you? Where was the support you needed?
2025 came with massive spiritual
lessons for us all. The wood snake brought slow moving introspection, contemplation and we faced delays & blocks in different aspects of our lives. This in turn required us to pivot and change direction or our focus. It made us question our values & principles. To say we all
Collectively limped toward Christmas would be an understatement!
What will happen in the year of the fire horse ?
The year of the fire horse is a ten in numerology. There is a touch of destiny connected with this year as 1 = new beginnings and 0= source energy.
This will be a fast paced year! The fire horse will bring in opportunity, stability, creativity & freedom. This is a year when your creativity will be unleashed and you will feel a sense of freedom around projects and you may even rebel against systems you disagree with!
This year is all about being your authentic self. The purest expression of who you are.
The snake year made us shed or go no contact with those that repress us or do not align with our values or ideals. 2026 is about being true to who you are. Due to the intensity of 2025 the shake up that needed to take place in your life has already happened , 2026 is integrating the trauma and turning it into wisdom.
What can you do with the knowledge you possess. You have the inner power to create the life you want to lead, it’s time to trust yourself and start the next chapter!
Collectively we are moving toward a heart centered form of expression. We will find ourselves at odds with our political representatives and what is happening in the world. We will find ourselves as a society looking for ways to call out self serving behaviour and start focusing attention on caring for the weakest in our communities. You may donate to a cause, join political rallies , fundraise etc. You will no longer feel as if you can standby and watch as a bystander. You will feel compelled by your own compassion to act.
When you stand up for yourself or step into your authenticity, there will always be those who will try and shout you down!
Certain people will say you’re getting notions above your station or that the old you was so much nicer! The year of the snake will have taken care of most of the users but this year will require us to lead from the heart.
Setting healthy boundaries and being careful who has access to you will remain a priority this year.
We will see this played out on a global scale as there will be massive political challenges that we all must face in the year ahead.
There is a lot happening in the world at the moment. Amidst , the chaos look for the helpers. You are one of them. Don’t be afraid to switch off the news from time to time and reset your nervous system.
This year has the potential to be one of the most spiritually significant & will align you with your soul purpose.
Most importantly, the year of the fire horse is about coming from your heart, expressing your truth and being the truest expression of your self that you came here to be!
