July blog:

There are no rules with spirit. Sometimes I dream of a scene and that image will pop in during the following days sitting or show. When I’m driving to a show, I become hyper aware of my surroundings. Trucks that have names printed across them jump out at me, a convoy of motorbikes brings an image of a gent in spirit and how he passed. The radio plays songs I have t heard in a while or names jump out at me from it. I’m already getting a sense of my audience before I have even arrived at the venue.

Every show is different.

Some shows can be light & full of humour. Others can be intense with trauma and messages of hope.

No two shows will ever be the same.

One of the things I find most frustrating is when people do not claim their loved ones in spirit.

This can be due to shyness and what I like to refer to as Psychic blinkers! They are there to hear from a certain person in spirit and don’t have the ability to think another family member will step through. It’s usually an elder that’s paving the way for this person to come through and build the link.

Other times it can be an unrealistic expectation of the level of information you can deliver before you link in with the correct person.

For example , recently I had a gentlemen who felt like a dad in spirit. Mentioned how he passed. There was a John , Jim , Joe connection and the name Mary.

I felt the sounding of the names in my mouth. I saw numbers & scales which is the sign of an accountant in the family and knew this gentleman was a no nonsense person.

No one was putting up their hand.

I gave more evidence until I basically had to say to the audience I would have to ask spirit to step back if no one would claim him? A lady put up her hand.

I asked what information she could take. She said her name was Mary her dad was John , passed in that exact way, he was a former accountant but his brother was Gerry not Jim…….

I had to take a deep breath……

As soon as I link in with the person , depending on their energy (heavy grief or cynicism can be very tough to break through) , the energetic link is established and there is a flow of information that follows.

The audience and especially the sitter is my battery pack.

The more open you are, the more the information flows. The more cynical you are, the information will be accurate but basic.

The exact same applies to a mediumship sittings.

I’ve had sittings where the accuracy is unbelievable and truly a privilege to hold such sacred space and in the rare cases it happens my next client won’t even give a yes or no! Which leads to a basic interpretation of the information as they are bringing the spiritual equivalent of a dead battery to a sitting!

No medium has the power to have high accuracy in the face of negative cynical energy. The client is responsible for the energy they bring to the sitting , just as the medium is responsible for the energy they bring to the sitting and the space they hold for the client.

It’s a sacred responsibility and there will be some clients you will have for life and others that are passing through.

There is no such thing as a one size fits all medium as it’s such a deeply personal space that is held.

You need to feel safe and comfortable with your chosen medium.

Your loved one is at peace.

No matter how traumatic their passing was, please know this.

If there’s one thing I detest is so called mediums glorifying suffering or saying someone is trapped.

That really boils my blood…..

Let me assure you, they are met by their spirit team and surrounded by your ancestors, friends & family.

There is only love (& accountability in some cases!) they step forward with.

Spirit will not tell you what to do.

They will not tell you where the family silver is hidden or what the lotto numbers are!

Their concerns and opinions died with their earthly form.

They are back to their higher selves and will watch over you for the rest of your life.

Mediumship can help with the evidence of that bond and also

In spotting some of the signs you may not have picked up on!

When I finish a demonstration I can relax! I love meeting audience members and seeing faces of the faery tribe or old clients I haven’t seen in years. My heart does be full in the knowledge I’ve done my very best and I look forward to my bed after a very busy day!

It is my life’s vocation and the reason I incarnated this time round!

I know for some people I have an unusual profession but for me it’s my way of life!

Have a great month!
