One of my favourite things to do is reunite clients with their pets in spirit.
I heard the most wonderful saying recently “Pets will only break your heart once!”
Our furry family members are there for all the happy moments and are bundles of support during the worst times in our lives.
Our departed pets reside with our ancestors in spirit and depending on how animal oriented a family are , I usually am shown a family member stepping through with several different family pets.
I’ve connected with guinea pigs , budgies, parrots , rabbits, dogs , cats , horses etc.
The most unusual pets I’ve connected with was a bearded dragon. I always remember describing him to my client and without explanation she pulled off her top to show me the most beautiful tattoo that went the length of her arm & shoulder , finishing up with the bearded dragon’s head over her heart, (where he used to rest his head!).
I always find just when I think I can’t be surprised , is usually the time something happens to blow me right out of the water!
Sadly late October ended with the passing of my beautiful spicy tortoiseshell cat Luna.
Her passing was sudden & traumatic. I’m not ok and won’t be for some time. It’s something I will have to integrate and adjust to.
I know she’s with my beautiful black cat Cara and my ancestors. It does bring me comfort , but right now her physical loss has to be grieved.
That’s the thing with animals. They are part of the family. People who don’t like animals won’t really understand that concept. There no judgement in what I say. You simply cannot understand the unconditional love an animal brings into your world if you’ve never had it or wanted it to begin with.
For those of us that have been honoured with that love, the loss their passing brings is sheer devastation.
As I stepped outside the veterinary surgery that fateful day, the brightest, most brilliant rainbow adorned the sky. I knew it was her way of saying that’s how quick it took to transition Mum!
I know she’s will always be with me, but it will take some time adjusting to her loss.
Our pets are at peace and if you are worried that because your pet has a difficult transition or sudden tragic death let me assure you now they were surrounded by your ancestors & angels.
I truly believe our animals are earth angels put here to make this heavy dimension bearable and teach us about compassion & responsibility They open our hearts to unconditional love and bring out our inner child to play with them.
Know they will always be with you and can also have a hand in sending a new furry family member into your life. Existing pets may also pick up On their energy when they visit. So next time you see your dog or cat staring at a space over your head or doing a head tilt at a corner , know they are letting you know they are watching over you and are at peace!
